Mayetta-Charles Larry Zule, 66, of Mayetta died Friday, October 20, 2006 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was born February 25, 1940 in Leavenworth, KS the son of Eugene W. and Vivian Marie Tarr Zule.
Charles graduated from Jarbalo High School near Leavenworth in 1958. He worked as a lather for Bob Florence Contractors from Topeka for approx. 45 years. He has been a member of the Mayetta community for 47 years. He was a member of the Lather's Union #1445 in Kansas City, Mo. He also enjoyed farming for many years.
Survivors include a son Randy Zule of Kansas City, MO; a daughter Lisa Stumpf of Hoyt; a son Tracy Zule of Mayetta; a sister Linda Patterson of Meriden; 2 brothers Ronald Zule and Gary Zule both of Leavenworth; and 7 grandchildren.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.
