Topeka- Charles W. Moore, 95,of Topeka, KS passed away July 8, 2009 at a care facility in Topeka. He was the son of Clyde and Myrtle Klepper Moore. He had previously lived in Mayetta, KS and had moved to Topeka in 1965.
Mr. Moore was a farmer, had worked for the State of Kansas and was a former member of the Potawatomi United Methodist Church in Mayetta.
He married Helen J. Swank on December 31, 1941 in Lyndon, KS. She preceded him in death on January 25, 1989. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Roy Moore.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Sisson of Topeka, KS; a grandson, Gary Sisson (Sheila) of O'Fallon, MO; 3great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside service for Mr. Moore will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Circleville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be given to Heart of America Hospice c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
