Obituary
Charles Dee Early, Jr., P.E., 86, of Holton, KS passed away on July 19, 2017 at Medicalodge Jackson County. He was born December 8, 1930 in Topeka, KS, the son of Charles Dee Early, Sr. and Ruby (Keim) Early.
Charles served in the United States Army in Germany for 3 years. He was in the Army Reserve until he served in Vietnam in 1962. He graduated from Northwestern University with a Masters Degree in electrical engineering. Charles had recently moved to Holton; he previously lived in Arizona and Massachusetts. He worked for over 35 years for GTE International as Director of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.
Charles married Liliane J. Early-Exelmans in 1984 in Belgium. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ruth A. Early of Mechanicsville, VA; step-daughter, Annick Mees-Verstrepen of Belgium; a granddaughter, Julie Martin and a grandson, Seibe Mees.
Private family memorial service will be at a later date.
