Catherine "Cathy" F. Wilson, 62, of Holton, KS passed away February 10, 2011 at the Holton Community Hospital. She was born August 1, 1948 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Robert L. and Irene L. Lindsey Ernzen.
She graduated from Troy High School and attended two years at an area Vo-Tech college. She worked in housekeeping at Hotel Josephine for many years. She was a former member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed doing craft projects, gardening and camping.
Cathy married Wilbur Wilson in April 2002 in Holton. He survives. Other survivors include her mother, Irene Ernzen of Circleville, KS; a daughter, April Hackathorn and her husband Phil of Larkinburg, KS; a son, Myron Hill and his wife Pam of Shawnee, KS; a step-daughter, Rebecca Robinson and her husband Gary of Tonganoxie, KS; a step-son, Travis Wilson and his wife Tempie of Wichita, KS; two sisters, Lynette McCollum of Holton, KS and Elizabeth Ernzen of Atchison, KS; six brothers, Clifford Ernzen of Cedar Vale, KS, Robert Ernzen of Leadville, CO, Michael Ernzen of Hattiesburg, MS. Richard Ernzen of Troy, KS and David Ernzen and Matthew Ernzen both of Atchison, KS and eighteen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ernzen in 2005; a son, Christopher Ernzen in 1999 and a nephew, Charles R. Carskaddon in 1969.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will be in the Holton Cemetery.
