Obituary
Carol "Sue" Johnson, 73, of Topeka, KS passed away September 18, 2014 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born November 30, 1940 in Holton, KS, the daughter of Robert W. "Bill" and Berla I. (Beems) Armstrong.
Sue graduated from Holton High School in 1958 and followed by Clark's School of Business in Topeka. She held numerous secretarial administrative positions and retired from Protection One in 2006. She married Duane Johnson, they later divorced.
Survivors include a brother, Rue Armstrong (Judy) of Topeka; a nephew, Kevin Armstrong (Priscilla) of Yorba Linda, CA; 6 nieces, Gwin Funk (Trent) of Fredonia, AZ, Deneen Thompson of Escondido, CA, Kristina Forshee (Rob) of Yorba Linda, CA, Tricia Pacinelli (Joe) of Yorba Linda, CA, Shelly Harshaw of Overland Park, KS and Kim Mooers (Marc) of Monroe, OH; along with an aunt, uncle and 17 great nieces and nephews.
Memorial graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Holton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Midland Hospice House or CureDuchene (a fatal disease that only affects adolescent males). Sue's 10 year old great nephew is dedicated to continue to raise money to help find a cure: to learn more about Tyler's participation, please search www.topwithtyler.com.
