Buddy LeRoy Bryant, 75, Valley Falls, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at his home.

He was born Oct. 16, 1940, at Cripple Creek, CO, the son of Sylvan and Maebelle Clark Bryant.

Buddy was self-employed in the recycling business. He was a member of the Valley Falls Christian Church.

He married Norma Boyd Dec. 18, 1960, at Topeka. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Bryant, in infancy, his parents and his step-father, Frank Musa, a sister, Twila Sorsveen, and her husband Stan Sorsveen.

Survivors include his wife, Norma, of the home; two sons, Jerry Bryant, Lawrence, and Scott Bryant, Topeka; three daughters, Rae (Todd) Evans, and Kelly Hall, all of Lawrence, and Tracy Bryant, Valley Falls; a brother, James Musa, Sr., Topeka; a sister, Star Hummer, Topeka; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, at the Valley Falls Christian Church. Burial will follow at the Valley Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls.
