Valley Falls- Bryan Scott Hutton, 64, of Valley Falls, KS passed away May 19, 2023 at his home. He was born November 17, 1958, the son of Elmer and Donna Jean (Bartholomew) Hutton.
Bryan graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1977 and proudly served in the United States Navy.
He worked for over 30 years at Concrete Unlimited Company as Foreman for the wall crew. He also worked for USD 501 as maintenance and landscaping. Bryan spent a lot of time doing yard work and he planted over 88 trees with his dad, Elmer. He also enjoyed sitting around watching Fox News.
Bryan married Marjorie "Sugie" Wilson in July of 1991. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his daughter, Kaitlyn Embree (Anthony) of Independence, MO; a granddaughter, Presley Jane Embree; 2 sisters, Sandy Allen (Rick) of Centralia, KS and Shelly Brush (Ron) of Topeka, KS; 3 brothers, Brad Hutton (Linda) of Topeka, KS, Barry Hutton (Janet) of Soldier, KS and Brent Hutton of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service with Military Honors will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 26 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Family will greet friends from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
