Obituary
SOLDIER- Brian S. Kiefer, 48, of Soldier, KS passed away August 18, 2011 at the Sabetha Hospital. He was born April 28, 1963 in Denver, CO the son of George and Peggy Jane (Krausman) Kiefer.
Brian attended Smokey Hill High School in Aurora, CO. He had been in the construction business most of his life and hanging drywall for the last 10 years with his brothers for K & B Drywall.
He had married Paddy Brown, they were later divorced.
Survivors include his son, Cody S. Kiefer of Goff; his daughter, Sierra B. Kiefer of Klemme, IA; his step-father, Joe Denny of Soldier; 2 brothers, Brett S. Kiefer (Jonette) of Goff, KS and Kurt G. Kiefer of Soldier, KS; a step- sister, Valerie Tolin of Topeka, KS and a step-brother, Joseph Denny II of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Brian was cremated and private family inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Brian Kiefer Memorial Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
