Brian Kennett Bawden, 48, of Holton passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 with his family by his side.

He was born December 14, 1966 the son of Kennett D. and Clara M. (Barton) in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Vo-Tech in Manhattan and was an electrician/ journeyman. He was a member of the IBEW #226. On July 1, 2014 he married Cheri Flach in Holton.

Brian is survived by: his mother, Clara Bawden of Topeka, KS; his wife Cheri Bawden of the home; his children, Christopher Bawden of Hoyt, KS, Stephanie Kerr of Holton, KS, Charles, JoAnna, Barbara and Nicholas Bawden all of Emmett, KS and Michael Anderson (Angel) of Leavenworth, KS; his brother, David Bawden of Topeka, KS; and his 3 grandchildren, Michelle, Michael Jr., and Mackenzie. He was preceded in death by his father Kennett.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will follow in Delia Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday with visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society of Topeka and may be left in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
