JORDAN
Topeka-Brent Curtis Jordan, 44, of Topeka, died Sunday, August 26, 2007 at his home. He was born September 12, 1962, the son of Kenneth and Donita Cordon Jordan.
He graduated from Wetmore High School in 1980 and graduated from Emporia State University with his degree in Education in 1984. Mr. Jordan taught middle school for 10 years and coached basketball and football. He had worked in management for Goodyear in Topeka since 1994. He was a member of the Emporia Alumni Association.
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Donita Jordan of Topeka; paternal grandparents, George and Viola Spiker of Wetmore; 2 sisters, Sally Jordan of Overland Park KS and Tara Jordan-Crawshaw of Topeka; a nephew Jacob Crawshaw and a niece Ashleigh Crawshaw both of Topeka.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Topeka. Family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Wetmore Cemetery. Memorial may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society sent c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436. Online condolences are available at www.mercerfuneralhomes.com.
