HOLTON – Brandon L. Jenkins, 22, of Holton died Thursday, October 30, 2008 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born on April 16, 1986 in Holton, KS. He was the son of Gerald Jenkins, Jr. and Tina Parrish.
He attended Holton Middle School and Northern Heights High School. He worked for BNSF Railroad and was a member of Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Local #2404.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kandice Mae Jenkins on May 29, 2007. Brandon is survived by his fiancé, Jena L. Malbrough of the home and their expected son due in December; his father, Gerald Jenkins, Jr. of Holton, KS; his mother, Tina Lawrence of Hiawatha, KS; half-sister, Beverly Bledsoe of Valley Falls, KS; a step-sister, Theresa Bechtel of Emporia, KS; a step-brother, James Bechtel of Topeka, KS; his grandparents, Gerald and Sharon Jenkins of Holton, KS and Gordon and Eileen Bledsoe of Valley Falls, KS.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2008 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Brandon Jenkins Memorial Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
