Beverly Lou (Holcomb) Cress, 85, of Topeka, KS, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Aldersgate in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Myron and Lottie Ella (Curtis) Holcomb.

Beverly attended Blandin School in Mayetta.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Valley Falls. In her spare time Beverly enjoyed arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed needle point work and florals. A couple times a week Beverly would spend a day at Craft-Ee Crafters in Topeka with her cousin, Georgiana Carson.

Survivors include 2 nieces, Myra Bryant (David) of Topeka, KS, and Tammy Holcomb of Holton, KS; 2 nephews, Jack Swank of Meriden, KS, and Wayne Holcomb (Collen) of Poquoson, VA; sister-in-law, Jan Holcomb of Peculiar, MO and many great and great-great nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Lottie Holcomb; sister, Peggy Swank and brother, Harold Holcomb.

Private Graveside Service will be at Olive Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Heart of Jackson Humane Society c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
