Beulah "Gwendola" Curtis, 92, of Holton, KS passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Vintage Park in Holton. She was born May 25, 1920 in Falls City, NE the daughter of George M. and Carrie E. (Boop) Scheidegger.

Gwendola attended school in Holton. She lived in Arrington from 1949 -1975, Everest from 1975-1998 and in Holton from 1998 to present. She was a homemaker and farmwife. Gwendola attended the First Christian Church in Holton and she was a past member of the VFW Auxiliary #3021 in Horton.

She married Glen David Curtis, Sr. on January 16, 1940 in Holton. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1975. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda F. Reeves; great granddaughters, Elaine Curtis and Ashley Reeves; great-great grandson, Alexander Reeves; 3 sisters and 5 brothers.

Survivors include 4 sons, Glen D. Curtis Jr., James L. Curtis and Gene A. Curtis all of Holton, KS and Gerald D. Curtis of Topeka, KS; a brother, Charles Scheidegger of Holton, KS and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Larkinburg Cemetery.
