Obituary
Bertha Ann Richards, 96, of Topeka, KS, formerly of Goff, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka. She was born August 24, 1920 in Goff, the daughter of William and Audrey (Henderson) Ruse.
Bertha was a homemaker, living most of her life in the Goff and Topeka communities.
She married James Richards on October 11, 1937. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lloyd E. "Gene" Richards; 3 sisters, Elma Troxel, Dorothy Fund and Stella Jones; and 2 brothers, Raymond and Willard Ruse.
Survivors include a son, Bryan L. "Buzz" Richards of Topeka, KS.
Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery in Goff. Memorials may be given to the Aldersgate Good Samaritan Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
