Obituary
Bertha Marie Nott, 88, formerly of the Holton area died Thursday, April 1, 2010 in Deming, New Mexico.
Bertha was born on February 26, 1922 in Soldier the daughter of Horace and Ruby (Bottom) Chrisman. She attended Bucks Grove and later graduated from Soldier High School. On January 29, 1940 she married Frank W. Nott in Hiawatha. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her son Dennis Eugene Nott in 1974 and her two brothers Harvey and Vernon Chrisman.
She is survived by: her son, Billy Dean Nott of Deming, NM; her daughter Judy O' Gorman of Omaha, AR; seven grandsons, 4 great-grandsons and 4 great- granddaughters.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 7 at Holton Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
