Bertha Ethel Anderson, 100, of Holton, KS passed away September 20, 2014 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was born September 9, 1914 in Eldon, MO the daughter of Moses Ludlow and Rhoda May Cain.

Bertha had lived in the Holton community since 1984 and previously in Missoula, MT. She was a homemaker. Bertha was a member of the Lakeview Faith Chapel in Holton.

She married R.C. Cain in 1934; he preceded her in death. She later married Floyd Cecil Anderson on February 8, 1972 in Tulsa, OK; he preceded her in death on September 24, 2009. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Survivors include 4 step-sons, Dale Anderson (Wanda) of Richland, WA, Clinton Anderson of Polson, MT, Robert Anderson (Patsy) of Kona, HI and Paul Anderson (Jerina) of Denison, KS and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Private family burial will follow in the Ozawkie Cemetery.
