Benjamin Hayden Smith, 46, of Lenexa, KS, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 29, 2023 at his home. He was born February 25, 1977 in Emporia, KS, the son of Terry Lynn Smith and Kathi Jo (Timbrook) Noe.

Benjamin graduated from Wetmore High School in 1995. He worked in maintenance for Price Brothers HVAC in Lenexa. He lived 10 years in Lenexa and 3 years in the Olathe communities after leaving the Wetmore area in his early thirties.

Survivors include his mother, Kathi Jo Noe (Wesley) of Wetmore, KS; father, Terry L. Smith (Carole) of Lake Ozark, MO; 4 sisters, Andrea Lagos (Ronald) and Analyssa Noe both of Wetmore, KS, Amelia Noe of Birmingham, AL and Alayna Wamsley (Levi) of Manhattan, KS and 2 brothers, Jay K. Smith (Kay) of Wetmore, KS and Shane M. Smith (Earlene) of Bailey, CO.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2024 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends until 12:30 p.m. after the service.
