Barbara Sue Bradley, 90, of Lee's Summit, MO, formerly of Goff, KS, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO. She was born November 14, 1933 in Trenton, MO, the daughter of Robert S. and Peggy M. (Clark) Johnson.

Barbara graduated from St. Agnes High School in Kansas City, KS in 1951. She was proud of being crowned Homecoming Queen in 1950. She attended IBM Business School in 1952.

Barbara worked for the Kansas City Post Office for a few years and sold Mary Kay for 15 years. Most of all, she was a homemaker and took care of her family.

She was a member of Goff United Methodist Church; serving as a Sunday School Teacher. She was also past Worthy Matron of Order of Eastern Star. She was also a passionate sports fan and never missed the opportunity to see her kids and grandkids compete.

She married Raymond R. Bradley on October 8, 1953 in Natchez, MS. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2008; after 54 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Peggy Johnson; brother, Danny Johnson and granddaughter, Ashley Ashwill.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Becky Lackey (Glen) of Olathe, KS, Diana Ashwill (Scott) of Topeka, KS and Traci Bradley (Michael) of Lee's Summit, MO; son, Mike Bradley (Janet) of Leawood, KS; brother, Larry Johnson (Gloria) of Angier, NC; 7 grandchildren, Brian Lackey, Scott Lackey, Kristina Bradley, Heather Stallbaumer, Jayme Weis, Cameron Heffner and Brett Ashwill and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Inurnment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Goff.
