Audrey Marie Oden, 93, of Kansas City, KS, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Providence Place in Kansas City, KS. She was born August 27, 1931 in Netawaka, KS, the daughter of Henry and Grace (Havekorst) Dachenhausen.

Audrey graduated from Holton High School. She was a homemaker and housewife, living most of her life in Kansas City and Arkansas.

She was a former member of the First Christian Church and volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers, AR.

Audrey married Gerald Dean Oden; he preceded her in death on December 25, 2008. She was also preceded by her parents; 2 sisters, Irene Osborn and Pauline Smith and a grandson.

Survivors include her 3 daughters, Cheryl Huffstutter (Ron) of St. Joseph, MO, Jan Kriss (Terry) of Overland Park, KS and Kaelyn Higgins (Pat) of Basehor, KS; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Holton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Susan G. Koman Cancer Research c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
