Anita L. Davis, 75, of Wetmore passed away Friday March 15, 2013 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

She was born June 12, 1937 in Circleville, the daughter of Clifford and Winifred (Brown) Brownfield. After graduating from Circleville High School in 1955 she married Russel Pickett, Sr. The couple divorced. She later married Dale Davis in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death. Anita was a supervisor at United Telephone Company in Holton for 20 years. She was a member of Circleville United Methodist Church.

Anita is survived by: her sons, Russel Pickett, Jr. of Wetmore, KS and Bucke Pickett of Arlington, TX; her daughter, Susan Harris and her husband Chuck of Atchison, KS; her step-son Timothy Pickett of San Francisco, CA; her sisters, Margaret Snyder of Hoyt, KS and Betty Dachenhausen and her husband Wendall of Auburn, KS; her grandchildren, Shawna Vandiver, Sara Weyeneth, Matthew Wilkerson, and Donovan and Danielle Meek; her great-grandchildren, Rachel Vandiver, and Evan, Cellione, Elizabeth and Danielle Weyeneth.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Heart of Jackson Humane Society and may be left in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton 66436.
