Obituary
Amber Annastasha Jones, 16, of Topeka, KS passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at her home after a courageous life-long battle with VCFS. She was born June 21, 1994 in Tacoma, WA the daughter of Brenda JoAnn (Turner) Jones.
Amber attended Holton High School through the 9th grade. She loved her bear-bear, pokemon and horses.
Survivors include her mother and dad, Brenda Jones and Mike Flagler of Topeka; a sister, Ashley Marie Jones of the home; her service dog, Butter Jones; her paternal grandmother, Barbara Bowman of Soldier; aunts, Laura Holliday and Erin Taff both of Soldier and an uncle, Alex Turner of Soldier.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 17, 2011 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will be in the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Amber Jones Memorial Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
