Alma Sarah Spiker, 90, of Topeka formerly of Wetmore died, Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at a nursing home in Topeka. She was born on December 5, 1919 in Goff, KS the daughter of Paul and Rosa Eberwein Thieme. She graduated from Goff High School. She was a lifelong member of the Wetmore and Goff communities as a homemaker. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Wetmore.
Alma married Harmon Robert Spiker on January 14, 1939 in Fairview, KS. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1986. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, David Keefover.
Survivors include three daughters, Roberta Stuke and her husband Ray of Topeka, Judy Schultz and her husband Donald of Topeka and Jane Keefover and her husband Bob of Spring, TX; a son, Robert Spiker of Salamina, Greece; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will be in the Wetmore Cemetery. Family will greet friends 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Good Samaritan Fund at Aldersgate Village c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O.
