Albert James "Red" Holt, 69, of Holton died Thursday April 8, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born May 24, 1940 in Corona, California the son of Walter J. and Myrtle E. McCormick Holt. He had lived and worked in Riverside, California before settling in Holton in 1993. On March 3, 1962 Albert married Betty S. Anderson in Las Vegas. She survives of the home.
He is also survived by: his five daughters, Kimberley Fansler of Killeen, TX, Carolyn Gibson and her husband Jim of Holton, Lisa Adams and her husband Danny of Holton, Jammie Holt and her husband Ali of Kuwait and Tammie Lillard and her husband DJ of Kearney, NE; his sisters, Lela Holt of Houston, TX and Winifred Riden of Tennessee; his brother Bill Story of California; his fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a daughter Sherri Holt in 1995.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 10th at Mercer Funeral Home with burial following in Holton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to The Albert Holt Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home P.O. Box 270, Holton 66436.
