Albert Lee Olds, Jr., 46, of Holton, KS passed away March 2, 2013 at Medicalodge Jackson County after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born March 23, 1966 in Holton the son of Albert Lee, Sr. and Betty Ann Lucille (Farley) Olds.

Albert graduated from Holton High School in 1985. He lived most of his life in the Holton community and also in Kincaid, KS for 17 years. Albert worked for Jones Sanitation, Craig's Sanitation, Trans National Diversified, Toby's Amusement Carnival, Garnett Church Furnishings, Sandel Glass and Daisy.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Kincaid Fire Department.

Albert married Carla I. Hunsperger on April 5, 1991 in Garnett, KS. They were later separated.

Survivors include a daughter, Alexis Olds of Bronson, KS; a son, Christopher Lee Olds of Kincaid, KS; 3 sisters, Alberta Tate (Joe) of Pomona, KS, Cindy Ackerman (Leo) of Holton, KS, Margaret Carter of Hiawatha, KS; 2 brothers, Alvie Olds of El Dorado, KS, Cecil Olds of Holton, KS; a grandson, Xander Finch and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Quincy Lee Olds.

Albert was cremated. Memorial graveside services will be10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Monday evening, March 18, 2013 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
