HOLTON – Albert L. Nocktonick, 82, of Holton, KS passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at his home in Holton, KS. He was born January 18, 1941 in Holton, KS, the son of Joseph and Louise Catherine (Tork) Nocktonick. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1959. Albert earned his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Washburn University.

Albert retired from the Prairie Band Casino where he worked in the Environmental Services Department. He was member of the Citizens Potawatomi Nation of Oklahoma and he served in the United States Navy.

Albert is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beryl Ann (Martin) Nocktonick; a daughter, Sarah Nocktonick of California; 2 step-daughters, Sally Lempp and Lesley LaFile both of Kearney, NE and a step-son, Erik Dahl of New Jersey; 3 brothers, Joseph E. Nocktonick, Richard Nocktonick and Louie C. Nocktonick all of Mayetta, KS; 4 grandchildren, Bailey Stofer, Braden Dahl, Gavin Dahl and Richard Dahl; 2 nieces, Margaret and Megan both of Mayetta, KS and a nephew Joseph Nocktonick of Mayetta, KS.

Albert is preceded in death by 2 sisters and a granddaughter Jessica Lempp.
